We have 60 places each year in our reception classes, 50 in our nursery class and we occasionally have places available in other year groups.

If you are interested in a place for your child, please contact the Southwark School Admissions team.

Primary School Admissions are administered by our Local Authority, Southwark. In the event of there being more applications than places available, then Southwark apply their oversubscription criteria. For more information of primary admissions and the over-subscription criteria, look at the primary admissions section of the Southwark Website

Instructions showing you how to apply online can be downloaded here

All our documents are provided in PDF format. To read these you may need to download the Adobe Reader.

Alternatively, you can find up to date information in your local library or one-stop shop.

The school offers tours of the school on a regular basis for parents of prospective pupils – please contact the school office for more details.

Nursery Admissions

We take children’s names on our waiting list when they reach their second birthday, and hope to be able to offer a place the September after his or her third birthday. We may also be able to offer places at other points in the year if places remain available.

An application form can be downloaded here

If more parents have requested places than we are able to provide, places will be offered based on the following criteria:

  • Children who live in the Borough of Southwark.
  • Looked after Children. Children with educational, medical or social needs supported by professional documentation.
  • Children who have a sibling attending the school at the time of admission.
  • Children for whom it is the nearest nursery class or school.

Please note:

Parents whose child is cared for by a childminder can opt to have the distance between the childminder’s home and the school measured if they so wish.

Where places remain available after all Southwark applicants have been allocated places the above criteria will be applied in the same order to out of Borough residents.

When places are offered the offer will be conditional until proof of date of birth and address have been given.

Confirmation of a nursery place is no guarantee of a school place for the following year. All Southwark parents need to apply via Southwark Council using the common application form (CAF) . You can find out more information on this by visiting their website.

For nursery admissions, please contact the school office.
